The Double Play is a tribute to good music. I think most bands that are worth playing on the radio are worth playing twice. I enjoy the similarities and differences in different kinds of music and sometimes those are the same bands. The Double Play just means that I'm going to most likely play two songs from the same artist or sometimes play the same song from two different artists. Either way I enjoy playing a variety of metals. Anything like Red Hot Chili Peppers or Stone Temple Pilots can be heard on my show, as well as more mainstream rock like Godsmack, Static-X, or Powerman 5000. Other styles of music I enjoy are "Math Metal", very progressive, and some instrumental music. I really enjoy a blend of metals. Nine Inch Nails, Gohira and Trivium may fit into those groups.

The Double XL Hour

The Double XL hour is all about playing good music and letting you know what is happening at Lewis-Clark State College. I try mixing it up and giving you a broad view of alternative music, plus at the top of the hour, I play something that is far outside of the alternative genre. I take requests at any time, and love listeners to be involved. On the Double XL hour, you’ll hear bands such as Coldplay…I play a lot of Coldplay. I also play groups like Anberlin, MuteMath, and AFI, though occasionally I’ll throw in something a little harder like Emery. I played Red Hot Chili Peppers once. I’ll let you know about sports and entertainment that’s happening at L.C. for the next couple of weeks so you can be involved. Hope you enjoy, and if you don’t, let me know, and request different stuff. I’ll play it! Peace.

My show is all about what is hardcore music and everything revolving it. We not only will play the music but we will be talking about upcoming concerts in the northwest and anytime a new album catches our attention they will be mentioned on the show with a review of the album. Any band news that comes up will be brought up on the show. We will put a large focus on local bands and others from towns such as Spokane, Seattle, and other surrounding areas. Stay brootal America.
